Ramakrishna Mission Students' Home celebrated
the Centenary of its founding for one year from February 2004 to
February 2005 in an appropriate manner.
To commemorate the event
a) Two new courses in the Polytechnic College were
introduced.
i) 3 Year Diploma course
in Automobile Engineering and
ii) 3 Year Diploma course in
Computer Engineering (both Hardware and Software)
b) Constructed a Centenary Building (with
necessary classrooms, labs, additional dormitory etc.)
and for the
two new courses at a cost of Rs.4.5 crores.
c) Reconstructed the old medical ward with all
facilities at a cost of Rs.28 lakhs.
d) Modernized and updated High School laboratory
at a cost of Rs.5 lakhs.
e) Constructed Centralized overhead water tank and under ground
water sump.
f) Special Souvenir published.
